Spider-man 4, July 2012
As you are probably aware Columbia pictures are re- launching the Spider-man film franchise with the rather predictable name of 'The Amazing Spiderman'. There is a lot of duff info on the web about who is in it, who will be the villains and what the story line is. We will try and give you factual information which we are sure is true. So if you dont want to know the storyline, super villains or what the cast is, this section will not be for you.
Andrew Garfield, a British actor has been drafted in to fill the boots of Peter Parker and the film is to be called . The Amazing Spider-man, and not Spider-man 4 that most keep searching for on the web. Spider-man 5 is another common search on google but i am pretty sure it will be called The Amazing Spider-man 2.
Here we have a sneak peak at Mr Garfield in his new attire.....All looks a bit 'broke back mountain' to me and there seems to be a lot of stuff out there saying it all looks a bit camp! i hope not and the teaser trailer that Sony have released should give you a better insite as to what our new spidey is going to be up to on 3 July 2012

These are the main Characters + Stan Lee's usual cameo role which kind of dictates what the script will be. So if you follow the comic books you will not be too surprised to see who the bad guys will be.

Storline:
This as mentioned above will follow Peter Parkers youth, starting college, through college, working with Dr Conners and Gwen Stacey within the college Lab. Being bitten by the spider and then coping with his new found super powers. Losing uncle ben the effect it has on his college life relationships and then his conscience on what he should do with his new found powers.
I believe that Columbia pictures hope that this film is a massive success as other spider-man movies have been in the past. This will follow on into The Amazing Spider-man 2 which again will be the best of the 3 films they hope to make off the back of the name Spider-man.
Spider-man is Marvels biggest Star and biggest draw and only the keenest fans know the storlines after about 3 or 4 super villains as in the past. Marvel know this and use Spider-man to relaunch new generation movie effects such as 3D films. These effects are so far ahead of the game that they relight the following Spider-man attracts and relaunch the Marvel Brand.
So again i predict that once these new 3 D films run there course the Product Spider-man will be relaunched again under a new name. Maybe (and i am just guessing here ' The Spectacular Spider-man) It is the way the comic books work and it also protects the character for the future advancements in cinema.
The Lizard:
Here are the first glimpses of what Lizard will look like in the upcoming movie, this is not the official suit but an official replica of it, that will be for sale in the shops soon.

After the disasterous movies from the 70s Marvel will never let Spider-man be Portayed in a camp, and half hearted storline again.
Stan Lee and Marvel do a great job making sure the storylines stick to the script which i believe was a big part why the earlier films from Sam Raimi did not go further than the 3 films he directed. Spider-man is Marvels biggest star and Sam Raimis films are usually bigger than the scripts can offer.
It is going to be a difficult transition for Andrew Garfield as many see Peter Parker as Tobey Maguire and Mary Jane as Kirsten Dunst but i believe by the time the new film is launched the previous Spider-man films will be more or less forgotten. The new advances in Special effects will blow the audience away and the Spider-man machine will march on making Marvel and sony another billion dollars!
